SUMMER ACADEMY IN GREECE BY THE JEAN MONNET CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE AND THE UNESCO CHAIR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MACEDONIA, GREECE IN JULY 2016
The University of Macedonia in Greece organises the first Summer Academy in Zagora on the Pilion mountain in Greece comprising of two summer schools from July 8 to July 20, 2016:
1) 8-11 July: Summer school organised by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence of the University of Macedonia for 3 days on the “EU Area of Freedom, Security and Justice” (25 hours).
Tuition fees: 350 euros for early registration (until 28 May) and 420 euros afterwards.
2) 14-20 July: Summer school organised by the Unesco Chair of the University of Macedonia, Greece on the “Protection of Human Rights in Europe” (40 hours)
Special guests: Professor Lech Garlicki, f. Judge at the European Court of Human Rights and at the Constitutional Court of Poland and Assistant Professor Alina Tryfonidou, Reading University UK.
Tuition fees: 500 euros for early registration (up to May 28) and 600 euros afterwards.
There is a reduction of 10% for those who will attend both summer schools of our summer academy.
Two (2) scholarships for each summer school are offered.

You can stay in the traditional Villa Gayannis (15 euros a night in a single room) and you can participate in afternoon excursions in beautiful beaches or programme your own trips to the nearby islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos.
